She has worked so hard this summer and she has been loving Dancing with the Stars. I am so grateful to have a mom like her!! Vote for My Mom!

When I was given the opportunity to be a contestant in Dancing with the Pagosa Stars, I didn't have an ounce of hesitation! I've always loved dancing, any kind, anywhere, live music, DJ's, with friends or by myself while cooking dinner. I've shared this passion with my daughter as well. I am always ready for the challenge to learn a new type of dance and I can say this is my first attempt at ballroom dancing!
I am passionate about Early Education and am honored to share my love of dancing to help Seeds of Learning raise their much-needed funds. I had a rough go for 10 years with my daughter’s dad. We struggled financially, living from place to place with no secure home base. I enrolled Leela in Auraria Early Learning Center at the age of 2. Not only did she excel with reading, socialization, problem solving and structure, but pre-school served as a total grounding and loving place for her to be. Every day she could count on going to a happy place, away from stress and unnecessary chaos, and that meant everything to me! Her dad would argue that we couldn't afford it. I said I'd eat ramen noodles every day to keep her in a safe and nurturing environment. Early education is everything for children!!!
I am so excited to be a part of helping raise money for Seeds of Learning so they can continue to have an positive impact of these kid’s lives and futures!!
